Bought after watching an item on ‘healthier’ sweetners. Stevia is natural with 0 calories, unlike canderel etc which has 1-3 per equivilent. Tastes like sweetner, but better for you.
Great product and if you are watching extra calories. Great product and if you are watching extra calories, this one is for you. Doesn’t have that horrible aftertaste like artificial sweeteners. Be careful when baking – the temperature above 190 c reduces the sweetness, so make sure if you bake with it you do not exceed 180 c.
Great alternative for diabetes. Got these for my dad, while you can buy stevia at the supermarket these do taste a lot better. He loves sweet tastes and sweeteners in general doesn’t come close to sugar. Diabetes is not something you ignore and it works great if you want some in your coffee, tea etc and he said that its pretty much the same as sugar. You can use it for baking (so it says on the can) but mom hasn’t tried that yet, i’m a bit uncertain that it’ll the same as sugar in taste and texture. Dad wanted some cupcakes which i think will work out pretty good. But still, i advice my mom to try to keep the usage low in general. A bit more expensive but well worth it in the end.
This is the only sweetener i use. It’s exactly like sugar so you can sprinkle on cereal and such. I’ve used it for guests in their coffee / tea and no one has noticed a difference from the real sugar they’re used to.
Fantastic if not too expensive. Fantastic great taste would never go back to sugar. Don’t know why it’s doubled in price since my last order had to get it somewhere else i still like the product but have to look elsewhere for better deals.
Natvia 100 % Natural Sweetener Canister 200g (Pack of 4) : This stuff is great for making the occasional treat for the diabetic in the household. It’s great in cakes but i don’t think it reacts to heat the same way sugar does – you couldn’t make fudge with it for example. It has a lot less after taste than many substitutes and has 0 calories.
