I use this a lot when i ran out i ordered from you but it is far to expensive off you to order again as when aldi have it in it is only £1-49 you are double this plus postage sorry but every penny counts.
Although i’m quite capable of making a madeira cake from scratch, this cake mix certainly deserves a place in anyone’s cupboard. Firstly the quality of crumb and taste is really good, and i use it quite often to bake a quick batch of cupcakes, especially when i get a visit from my granddaughters, as they’re only interested in the decorating bit. The last time i made them for adults, they went down very well, and were commented upon. There are quite a few flavours, but i like the toffee and madeira, intend to try the carrot and ginger next.

I love wrights cake and bread mixes, they never fail me. The maderia cake mix can be used in a variety of ways my favourite is cherry cake.
Wright’s madeira cake mix. . Cake like grandma used to bake. The trouble is, it is so easy to make – dare i say foolproof?. If one of these madeira mixes ever managed to reach the freezer, it would probably freeze well. I am looking forward to trying the toffee cake. Wright’s, you are a grand find .
Really great tasting and easy cake mix. I have used wright’s cake mixes for a while, but ordered via amazon as often hard to find in the shops. Very easy to make, very economical (you only need to add oil), but most importantly are really really tasty. I have fooled so many people over the years with their mixes as there is none of that terrible chemical taste you get with most cake mixes. One mix will make a large 2lb cake, and with a bit of creativity, you can add stuff to make it cherry, lemon drizzle etc. I really recommend these – and, no, i don’t work for them, but want to support a small, very old, company who make a really good product. I’d definitely recommend their ginger cake, and toffee cake too.
