Best walnuts ever – like freshly cracked nuts. I was so fed up with the walnuts from my local supermarket that i decided to search amazon for an alternative. The little supermarket packets were always full of flaky bits and the walnuts looked old – i always worried they were going rancid, even though the use by date was well in advance. Never again will i buy supermarket walnuts.These sunburst whole golden californian walnuts are just delicious. They taste exactly the same as if they were freshly cracked nuts. Ok, so you pay about half as much again for these walnuts, but at least you can’t resist eating them. The supermarket ones usually get thrown away after a few weeks. The packet is really strong and is easily sealed again. There are reportedly tremendous health benefits from eating a handful of walnuts a day (have a look at dr mercola’s website for example), and these nuts taste so fresh i really feel they are doing me some good.

I love nuts, and i love walnut the most – the sunburst nuts arrive tasting fresh and if kept in the resealable pack with remain frest after having been opened for up to a month.

These are nice and not bitter like some walnuts i’ve tasted, however i have found the walnuts you buy in lidl are just as good so they work out cheaper so i buy them from there instead now. Here are the specifications for the Sunburst Whole en Walnuts Californian 1 kg:

Very nice and clean walnuts. Our large collection of parrot’s love them, they look forward to walnuts in their feed bowls every day. Not to put human reactions to our charges but we can detect their disappointment when none are available.

    The walnuts arrived in a lovely foiled resealable bag, they taste fantastic and there is no bits or dust just lovely whole walnuts.

    Very expensive and quality not better than lidl walnuts. This is so over priced walnuts. And quality is no better than the walnuts available at lidl. At 22 gbp its more than twice expensive.

    Tasty and not little chunks. On my second bag of these alreadya bag full of whole walnuts. Not a bag of crushed walnut pieces. They’re lovely and tasty – the price seems steep yet when you look at the premium walnuts in the supermarket these come in at amazing value.

    1. I am so fed up of buying walnuts only to have to throw them out due to them being rancid, these were my last resort and as they are quite expensive i was apprehensive. They are soooo good, i soak all nuts and seeds and it was all i could do not too eat them before they were ready. Really sweet and creamy as if just picked, takes me back to being a child when we had a walnut tree in the garden and eating them straight from the tree.
