These are good dates, but if you spend that little bit more on the soft dates they are more versitike and taste great too.

Most dates you buy in the shops are very dry and quite `cardboardy` but these seem to be less dehydrated and are really excellent to eat with cheese and crackers or to add into a smoothy. Good taste, fibrous centre. . These dates have a nice taste and are very moist but i’m not too keen on the texture because they are more fibrous towards the centre than i prefer. They’re well pitted; i only found one stone in the whole 2. They chop up well and are good in muesli. Because of the texture, i’m not over keen just eating them as a snack. Also the fibrous centre means they didn’t soften well when i cooked them with apple to include in an apple crumble. If you’re interested in having dates to increase your fibre-intake these would be very useful.
