Suma Goji Berries 1 kg : Goji berries

I have only been using goji berries for a few weeks now, so it’s too soon for any approval yet, all i can say is that they are not very good dry to eat, but when put into porridge yet to be cooked, they plump up very nicely during the cooking process.

These berries better be berry good. My wife talked me into getting these, they are all the rage in russia apparently, so that must mean they work in the bedroom department as thats all russian men think about . Here are the specifications for the Suma Goji Berries 1 kg:

  • Great added to museli for a healthy and tasty breakfast
  • Goji berries have a wide range of vitamins and minerals
  • Goji berries contain 8 amino acids, unusual for a non meat food
  • Dried goji berries contain a high vitamin C content, unlike other dried fruits

I have read that this product has health benefits and i am convinced that is the case i also like the taste and whenever i feel if i would like something to eat possibly something less healthy i now just eat my goji berries that can be good if you are watching your weight jean.

Been using it for 20 years ,has good properties for your health we take it every morning it has good health properties we believe.

Reviews from purchasers :

  • Good Value for money
  • A versatile, sweet/sharp little berry with loads of uses
  • Healthy Goji Berries.

A versatile, sweet/sharp little berry with loads of uses. Goji berries from china, preserved with sulphur dioxide. These are another nice fruit with a good flavour and really versatile. They dry quite firm, so benefit from a bit of a soak before using to plump them up a bit, but if you want to use them straight from the packet in a recipe, they’re quite forgiving. I like to use these in conjunction with dried cranberries and other dried fruits to lift everyday recipes using ‘mixed fruit’ into something on another level altogether from the ubiquitous sultanas/raisins/currants mix (yawn) and give a real flavour hit. A handful stirred into porridge or muesli, or added to cereals with or without other fruits always improves them. If you like fruit sauces to accompany roast meats, a sauce from goji berries is excellent with poultry and game. A kg bag of these little berries will last quite a while, but there’s a good long shelf life to them, so they’re good value for money.

Like most products from suma always carry good value for money. The only negative is: it is not an organic product. I would very much like to see suma to bring out organic goji berries of similar price range.

  1. Add a bit on to your porridge, add to salad, cake, pudding, nougat. Or just for snacking when peckish .
