More ground breadcrumbs than flour. Bought to make some healthier and high protein brownie’s / cookies however it’s consistency is more breadcrumbs (hence the ground) than actual flour. While it worked for some recipes it isn’t really a flour alternative unless you can ground it down even further.

This product is ok but its more like ground almonds than other almond flours that i’ve tried, having said that it still worked well in all recipes i’ve tried but i’ve ordered the extra fine variety next time to see what its like.

Wonderful grain flour replacement. As part of my ‘futurapproved’ anti-aging lifestyle (i am a doctor and a dermatologist) i am not eating grains (ie. No conventional bread, cakes, cookies etc. : slow down your biological clock by changing the way you eat. I found this (naturally gluten-free) blanched almond flour a great alternative to grain-based flours to bake with. It’s very fine and white looking (looks just like ‘normal’ flour), not to be confused with ‘ground almonds’ / ‘almond meal’. The latter is ok to use for certain things (e. To batter fish), but for proper cake this is what you need. However, you can’t just use it 1:1 instead of your conventional wheat flour; i recommend searching for special almond flour recipes online (eg. Search for ‘paleo cakes’) to make it work. I have used it (sometimes mixed with coconut flour) for making sugar- and grain-fee blueberry muffins for example – 100% futurapproved.

Excellent quality am enjoying discovering different ways to use as a substitute for wheat flour.

Good tasting, organic almond flour. Not much to say, its what its supposed to be.

RealFoodSource Certified Organic Blanched Ground Almond Flour Low Carb/GF/Paleo Baking(1KG) : Not almond flour as it wrongly suggests, even though in the description is states that it is in fact ground almonds, very misleading. Stick to the sukrin almond flour if that’s what you’re looking for for baking. As ground almonds this is perfectly suitable & no complaints there, just wrongly named.

      1. I use quite a lot of almond flour and buying it from the supermarkets in tiny quantities is really expensive. I prefer to buy in bulk and wish i could buy an even larger bag each time then hopefully it would be cheaper.

    I use quite a lot of almond flour and buying it from the supermarkets in tiny quantities is really expensive. I prefer to buy in bulk and wish i could buy an even larger bag each time then hopefully it would be cheaper.
    1. This stuff has got us baking again – it’s the nuts. This stuff is great, we’ve used it to make fabulous savoury breads, cookies, cakes and banana bread. And all, dairy, gluten & sugar free. My advice; buy in bulk keep it in the freezer until you need it.
