Usable, but i don’t think i’ll repurchase. . This lost two stars because i’m not very pleased with the fact that this product hasn’t got a date of manufacture, or a use by date on the pack. Once blanched almonds have been processed they can start to deteriorate quite quickly when exposed to the air, and this product will need to be stored in an airtight container in the fridge and used within a week or two. Having said that, this is a nicely produced almond ‘flour’ (although it’s more of a superfine ground almond meal). It’s clean, not sticky, hasn’t been over processed. I like to use this as a thickener in soups or curries where i don’t want to change the flavour of the food, but want to make it thicker and more unctuous but don’t want the texture of plain ground almonds. Almond flour makes lovely shortbread, using this instead of semolina in the recipe, and it’s good in puds, smoothies and baking, substituting 25% of the flour with the almonds – and of course it’s perfect for almond pastries. It won’t make a shortcut for almond milk. The product listing states that this is made from spanish almonds, but the pack states the origin is usa. I’ll use this, but i don’t think i’ll repeat purchase.
Taste is good – but not well ground, lots of almond meal not milled.

Good quality product and fast delivery. Ordered sunday and arrived tuesdayunfortunately for me for the first time in my life i didn’t read the description and being new to low carb had not yet understood that almond flour is simply the american term for ground almonds but that’s my own fault for not checking first. These are really nice with a good almond flavour and for those having difficulty sourcing larger bags this is a great source.
Great to cook with, no sieving required – perfect alternative to normal flour and tastes great.
