The best pancake flour and tasty in brownies too. This is quite simply the best flour for pancakes ever. It’s so tasty and as a batter it has great elasticity. It is not a grain, it’s made from a seed (closely related to rhubarb) so t’s higher in protein etc and you can use it as part of your grain-free or gluten-free diet or just because it’s a great healthy alternative. I use it in everything instead of wheat flour and sometimes use a mix of this and spelt for cupcakes.

Easy to use alternative to flour. Had it for a few months now. Used it to make pancakes quite a lot and it definitely is a lot better for this than coconut or almond flour. I’ve used it in a few other dishes like salmon fish cakes and shepherd’s pie, it seems to work well, although if you add too the texture of the fishcakes isn’t great.

A great alternative to wheat. Whilst trying to cut down on wheat i wanted something to use in its place. Found a great recipe for buckwheat pancakes and wanted to give it a try. Since then i have been experimenting and it is great in fruit loaves too.
