Daforto Stevia Natural Liquid : Good sugar substitute

Daforto Stevia Natural Liquid : Good sugar substitute

My husband has been converted too. Only take half a spoon of sugar so use 4 drops instead.

Best sugar replacement but the dosage is likely greater, as others have also found, than the bottle suggests. . I’ve just tried this with a cup of organic decaffeinated coffee, which i normally like around the equivalent of two spoons of sugar. Yes, i have a problem with sugar. But i also want to fight it in any way that i can, as i don’t fancy the long term consequences much. Processed stevia in crystalline form is controversial as there have been reports of bleaching and too many chemical additives to get the leaves into this state. So these drops seemed like a plan. The bottle says one drop equals a gram of sugar. I would say (and i can see that i’m not the only one) that 1 drop is more like 1/4 of that. So to get the equivalent of a heaped teaspoon of sugar i took 4 drops in my coffee and i was amazed. No after-taste of any kind either ( butplease see below). I will definitely be using this product from now on. And will be using it as follows6 drops = 1 1/2 teaspoons of sugar8 drops = 2 teaspoons of sugaras for the alleged bitter after-taste. Some people can eat cooked brussels sprouts, and experience no bitter aftertaste ever.

I purchased this ages ago and i stil have 3/4 of bottle left. This is an excellent product if you need to manage your sugar intake. Here are the specifications for the Daforto Stevia Natural Liquid:

  • great with coffee, tea and other hot drinks, ideal for diabetics, stevia, natural Sweetener, stevia tablets

Have read lots of reviews of different products and decided to buy this one, because of the product being in germany and appropriate price. It is great, read reviews that it has some aftertaste etc. But dont feel anything at all except sweet taste. I use it with tea and other drinks. Before was putting 3 teaspoons of sugar into my drinks which is ~16gr of sugar, now to have the same taste i place 15 drops (1 drop = 1gr of sugar) of this stevia liquid.

Reviews from purchasers :

  • No nasty after taste.
  • Good liquid, could be sweeter

I use this all the time and its the only stevia i have found with zero nasty back taste.

I have not had a liquid stevia before, but i can no longer get the powder one i like so i decided to take a chance. I know this is subjective, but i can detect no bitter after-taste which is a relief. The dropper in the top of the bottle works very efficiently, so long as you make sure there is no residue on the screw thread of the cap etc.

      1. Add too much and it tastes like a plant sap was added. An alternative to the truvia and xylitol sugar substitues on the market. Buy this if:you are on a diet replacing sugar with a substitue and don’t want any caloriesthe diet you follow does not use a sugar substitute that may block some hormones/triggers of thermogenesis (fat burning). Don’t buy if:not on a diet type mentioned aboveyou prefer a sugar substitute that still tastes of sugar (e. Truvia, xylitol, erithrytol)it does not taste of sugar, but it does sweeten what you add it to. Add too much and it tastes like a plant sap was added. Which is to be expected as it’s a plant extract. The reasons for the above diet statements are because alcohol sugars (xylitol, erythrytol, sorbitol, malitol) do eventually have an insulin response in the body and may block some hormones/chemicals in the body responsible for thermogenic activity – a minor effect, but an effect nonetheless.

Healthy alternative for sugar. . Excellent replacement for sugar with none of the calories. I use this to sweeten homemade green smoothies and homemade lemonade. I will definetly purchase this product again.

One of the few natural sugar substitutes that haven’t been messed with.

Excellent calorie-free sweetener. This is a great value non-flavoured stevia. Yes, some people have a issue with the stevia taste, but personally, i don’t notice it. This is really sweet – only a few drops or you’ll ruin your cuppa.I also add it to smoothies and protein shakes amongst other things. You could also use it in lower temperature cooking but you should be aware that stevia isn’t stable over 200 degrees c. Also as it lacks the bulk of sugar, you couldn’t replace it like-with-like.

Item arrived punctually, and it is pure stevia (many have added synthetic sweetener).
      1. I love it, my husband hates it. I began using this product as i needed to reduce my sugar intake for health reasons. Initially i found it had a hint of an aftertaste, but now i no longer notice any difference between this and sugar (i only use it in drinks). My husband, however, describes it as my “vile poison”, a description some reviewers here would obviously relate to. Like any food, it’s down to personal taste, so if you can find anywhere to try it our first, you could save yourself a few pounds. Personally, i’m very happy to have lost the two teaspoons spoons of sugar in my hot drinks without any withdrawal symptoms and if i have no alternative but to use sugar, i have found that now one spoonful is enough.
