Bargain price for a sugar free diet.

I use this syrup in tea and as a substitute for sugar in as much of my cooking as possible. It has a great taste and, if you are looking to eliminate fructose from your diet, i would highly recommend it.

Good substitute for honey but healthier.

I started by thinking this was great. It worked fantastic with the angela liddon glo. I started by thinking this was great. It worked fantastic with the angela liddon glo bar recipes. But now we know my partner has a diabetes gp diagnosis this is a no no for us. So i am giving it a personal 3 stars. That is no reflection on the product. It just reflects the fact that this rice syrup isn’t suitable for a diabetic, and if you are thinking of buying this as an alternative to sugar, think carefully. You may find its not as great for your health as you think it is.

Less sweet than golden syrup but with more flavour and no fructose. We have used this as a direct replacment for golden syrup in cookies and the difference is minimal but adds a slightly difference but nice flavour to baking. A great product and i would recommend.

    I’ve ordered something like 2 dozen bottles of this over the past several months. It’s perfect for baking, adding to oatmeal, etc. It does have a slightly more floral, honey-like taste to it compared with clearspring organic rice malt syrup, and i use both in conjunction with a teaspoon of erythritol for adding to my tea – and after months of trial and error, i’ve finally got that right – i now can’t tell the different between that and tea sweetened with regular sugar.

    It tastes better than the other brand. And of course no fructose :)squeezy bottle is great for the kids to use on their pancakes.

      1. I bought this as i am trying to reduce the amount of refined fructose in my diet (i recommend reading “sweet poison” and “i quit sugar”. Rice syrup contains glucose. The taste is sweet but in a delicate way. I love it and use a small amount in desserts and on my cereal.

    1. Good product but will take me forever to use the six in pack smaller packs would be much better as only i use it.

    Great replacement for honey with no fructose at all. Nice taste and easy to spread. This is the only brown rice syrup i have found in the uk.

    I usually like syrups but i found this one a bit tasteless. Had to use quite a bit at the time to get the sweet taste.
