Bacheldre Watermill Stoneground Strong Bakers Flour 16 kg, Good, but better value to be had elsewhere
The product is very good, i’ve baked some fantastic bread with this flour. As i bake a lot it’s great to know that i have plenty in . My one and only criticism is that when the flour is delivered it’s not as shown on amazon, it’s in a plain white bag (rather like a cement bag) and not as detailed on the photo.
Perfect flour, full of natural goodness. The quality is superb and perfect for the sourdough bread i make. It has a wonderful texture and being stoneground it retains all the nutrients ordinary white flour loses in the milling process. Packaging was fine, comes in a sack with a cardboard box to protect it so it was undamaged. Couldn’t recommend it more :-).

Perfect bread flour for anyone who loves baking bread. I started baking my own bread for my wife and i several month’s ago and i will never go back to the stuff that is currently sold in the supermarkets labeled ‘bread’. I go through one of these bags in two month’s, baking around three loaves a week. I also bake for friends after i baked them a loaf and they keep begging for more. The woman who enjoys my bread claims that store bought bread always gives her a migraine but my bread does not. This flour is made the old fashioned way and i like that about it. It is stone ground which is the way flour is supposed to be milled. On some occasions, when i make two loaves, i mix 250 grams of the bacheldre whole meal strong flour with the white to get a half-and-half loaf and it’s well received by my wife who loves her morning toast. I follow a recipe that i got from paul hollywood’s website and mix everything together in a kitchenaid mixer and every loaf comes out perfect every time. I am very pleased with the product, the smell of the product before and after baking and would recommend this to anyone who wants a flavourful flour for baking one or two or twenty loaves.
You just can’t do better than this flour, it makes baking a breeze and fantastic value for money.
